Trinity Muscatine Public Health is involved in the development of comprehensive public health policies that promote the health of the community. Activities include involvement in a wide variety of community groups and organizations.

An example of policy development that benefits the health of those in Muscatine County is the collaboration between Trinity Muscatine Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health that resulted in the county being declared a dental professional underserved area. This activity has resulted in an increase in funding and resources to the community that result in improved access to dental care for those in need.
